| "Rural American Beauty" | |
| Aging old barns have always been one of our favorite subjects in most mediums especially acrylics, pastels and color pencils. The natural blend of the colors in the aging wood and fading paint on the barn is what makes it stand out like a real life piece of art. It's costly to restore these barns and that's why we say: "Before it starts to fall, give us a call." We can preserve it on canvas, paper or artboard, etc. Such old barns carry a lot of rural history, fond memories and are such a challenging subject of beauty and naturalness for the artist to draw and paint. |

An early 1900's Champion fire engine "Diamond T" model equipped with Champion high-pressure fire pump. It was built by the W.S. Darley Co. of Chicago, Illinois U.S.A. Having been through it's days in fire fighting, Ol' Red is quietly rusting away in a lonely pasture. Gone but not forgotten, memories linger on in our minds of what the challenges of fire fighting were like in "Ol' Red's" time. This illustration of the famed fire truck is dedicated to the fire fighters whose lives were lost in the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center in New York City. |
